I just came across your site and the only thing i can say is: Wow.
I might repeating all over but my so called life meant a lot to me when i were younger. I discovered angela and her world when i was about fourteen. Now i'm turning thirty this year and it has never lose any fascination to me. I can watch all the episodes again and again and everytime find new answers and quotes that touch my heart, makes me cry and make me wonder about angela's view of life. It might sounds silly but it felt and still feels like being understood by this character.

LOVE this tumblr, it makes me so happy. I think someone already asked you about your favorite MSCL episode, but I wanted to know which one disappointed you.
For me, regardless of the jump-the-shark Christmas episode I can barely watch, I have always thought "Betrayal" could have been handled differently. They spend too much time on the parents subplot and we don't get enough time with Angela, we don't hear her thoughts and see her side of the hurt. It should have been the most incredible episode of the series. The entire season deals so beautifully with her eloquence. But we only see Angela lash out and dress up as Reyanne? You know?

And I agree with you about Betrayal. Don’t even get me started on the Hallie Lowenthal drama. She annoys me so much. Like you said there were no Angela voiceovers and boy they would’ve probably been epic and so quoteworthy.
I feel like the focus was more on Rayanne dealing with the repercussions of her actions. And it should have been on Angela. The whole Corey thing is her way of trying to show she’s not an innocent victim but it hurts too much to watch cause that’s so not who she is and also seeing Rickie get hurt by it, just made it worse. Btw I wanted so bad for Corey to be gay. Rickie deserved someone. =[
Overall though, I love this episode because of how subtle things were “discussed” and i’m not saying this is a good thing. Maybe they should have discussed it all out in the opening, idk. lol But in the end Angela only talked openly about it with Rickie in the bathroom. Then she had that pen argument with Jordan where she made it clear she knew about his fuck up and that she wasn’t happy or willing to forgive and forget. And then on one of my favorite scenes from the entire show, the last scene where they reenact Our Town. My god, that is such a heartbreaking moment. I can’t help but forgive Rayanne right there.

least favourite episode and why ?
Oh that would be Halloween. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a couple of awesome quotes and funny scenes like Rayanne and Brian having a moment and also Danielle dressed as Angela which will always make me LOL.
But I don’t really care for the supernatural part of the episode. This was such a realistic show in so many ways that Angela having visions, getting high (lol) or whatever it is that made her see Nicky Catalano, oops Driscoll, it just didn’t work for me.
It’s a fun episode but I feel like they wasted some precious air time. =| The end kind of makes up for it, with that sweet moment with Danielle leaving candy to Angela and Jordan once again opening up to Angela and listening to her. Her belief in him got him to go back to class. That’s huge, imo.
